Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

I’m not sure where to post this but in episode 19 where Mustang melts Lust, you kept asking what happens if mustangs transmutation circle gets wet like if Lust just spat on the carving he put on his hand. The reason the glove getting wet messes up his flame alchemy isn’t because of the symbol getting wet, the glove is an ignition glove. It creates an incendiary spark for him to work with when he snaps because of the material it’s made of, the circle only allows him to manipulate that spark to transmute it into a larger flame. If the glove is wet, it can’t spark, which is why he had to use the flint from Havoc’s lighter after Lust ripped the glove up. He can’t create fire from nothing because that breaks equivalent exchange, he needs a spark first.

Strike that, you moved on really fast and I thought nobody was going to say anything but juuust got to where it was explained. OK this comment was null lol I was worried for no reason. Glad you’re enjoying the show so far though and I know you get this all the time but your charisma and voice are the best in all podcast history I swear, I love your shows so much! Much love!
