It's the final chapter! *fistpump*
I really like this illustration; there was plenty of Catelyn zombie/undead artwork but they all lacked a certain spookiness, they were weirdly cartoony sometimes. I like that this one is more realistic and haunting. Guess who I'M going to be for Halloween this year! (As long as they cover this part in the show, I don't wanna spoil anybody.)
Epilogues are always fun because they usually feature a character that we don't see at any other point, so it's like getting a sneak peek into the rest of the world that GRRM has built. In this case, we get some more background information on the Frey family and learn how things function within it, and we find out about the planning of the Red Wedding and who was behind a lot of the planning for it.
When Catelyn appears, I remember feeling a combination of excited that we had a really freaky supernatural force out there trying to avenge Robb, and annoyed that I was still going to have to deal with Catelyn being around. When I found out that she couldn't really talk I was kind of relieved. Wonder who her next victims will be?
Brendan and I go over his predictions from the last book and laugh at him, and he talks about some of the expectations that he has for the next book. Not too in-depth, however, because we're going to have a wrap-up podcast specifically for that, so stay tuned!
