Episode 199: A Storm Of Swords, Chapter 58 (TYRION)

Happy New Year, everyone! We started off this episode with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate, hope you all had a great night, and best of luck in the coming year!

I absolutely adore this illustration of Shae. She looks EXACTLY as I picture her, sexy and delicate and just a hint of exoticism. WELL DONE.

This chapter is short and seemingly doesn't move forward much plot-wise, but it brings up some interesting theories for Brendan. He's convinced, after Tyrion's thoughts on Shae's saftey, that now Shae is going to have to die. He's struggling against being "Red Wedding-ed" again that he's going to create his own horrible plotlines and depress himself! Don't do it, Brendan!

Tyrion is so unhappy, his relationship with Sansa has only gotten worse since he's had to tell her about the death of her family, and he doesn't feel good about the fact that the Lannisters are on top right now, even though he is one. And to that, I say "GOOD." Because that means he has a fucking heart.

I just finished rewatching Dollhouse in conjunction with Mark Watches, I think I liked it better the second time. All of the analysis and thought and themes Mark points out make it very interesting! And that's why I love your podcast too :)
